I love helping professional women get organized and create more balance in their life. I am also passionate about helping individuals and families with ADHD and other conditions that impact their ability to organize. I worked in the corporate world for over 20 years and I understand how many professional women feel overwhelmed playing multiple roles as a wife, mother, and caregiver while holding down careers outside of the home. I was there.
I used to work easily over 50+ hours and felt lucky if I had 5 hours a day to sleep. My husband helped out a lot, but like many other women, I still assumed the heaviest workload at home. Paying bills, making dinner, getting children ready for school and activities, going grocery shopping, checking school correspondence, planning family events, etc. Most weekends were spent to catch up on what I was not able to do for work and home during the week. Though I worked as hard as I could, I often felt that I was not doing any of it well and everything seemed to be out of control. We also have a son with severe ADHD, which added more challenges in terms of family management. Life with ADHD can get chaotic. It is hard to feel good about parenting or yourself when you are constantly dealing with emotional outbursts, arguments, and misbehaviors. I often felt that I did not have the ability or capacity to help my son or family.
I now help busy professionals, parents, and families whose life is impacted by ADHD and other brain-based conditions. It is possible to improve the quality of your life and spend more time on what you love. I am also one of the two licensed and certified Sanity School™ trainers in Illinois. I am excited to share what I have learned from Sanity School™with parents of complex children in our community. I would like to be a part of your success in creating a well-balanced life by transforming surroundings, improving productivity, and minimizing distractions in day-to-day life.
I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a BA in Communications and an MS in Human Resources and Industrial Relations.
